18th Annual Diamond Classic Baseball Tournament - June 19-21, 2026 - U8 to U14 Baseball

2026 will mark the 18th year for the Diamond Classic, which started in 2008 with 16 teams at the U14 level.  Today, the tournament uses 11 fields across two immaculate nearby facilities (Belvidere North HS and Ross-Fish Youth Sports Complex at Belvidere Youth Baseball) and hosts 50+ teams annually at ages U8 to U14.  Teams from Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana have participated in past events.
The tournament is considered A/AA level, with some lower-level AAA teams participating who may not be having success at the full AAA level.

Why the Diamond Classic?

  • Four game guarantees at most levels!
  • Full tournament staff (many of whom have been together for all 18 years) that manicures fields between each game and has site supervision at each facility.
  • Two patched umpires (most levels).
  • Facilities are kept in excellent condition by full time grounds crews for school district and local sports organization.
  • No hidden fees, no stay-to-play, no gate fees.
  • Two facilities, 11 fields, all within ONE mile of each other!
  • Belvidere Youth Baseball runs one event per year - the Diamond Classic.  We are not a corporate tournament factory.
