2025 BYB Rec Baseball & Softball - Spring 2025

Registration for the 2025 BYB Rec League now OPEN.

Founded in 1958, Belvidere Youth Baseball has evolved to one of the area's largest youth sports organizations for young athletes in Boone County. The Ross-Fish Youth Sports Complex is located on Fairgrounds Road (Route 76) in Belvidere, just north of the Boone County Fairgrounds. The organization includes in-house teams from ages 4 to 14 as well as tournament teams at many levels in both baseball and softball.

2025 Storm Chasers Baseball - Annual 2025

Here is where you register for the 2025 Storm Chaser team.  With your registration, you will receive:

• Winter Indoor Practices (January to March)
• Additional clinics and instruction
• Additional practices/scrimmages, mostly on weekends or Sundays
• Up to four tournaments
• Uniform jersey and hat
• Network League weekday games (April-June)
• $300 registration fee (in addition to the rec league fee)

*PLEASE NOTE You may only register for the 2025 Storm Chasers program if your player has tried out and been notified that they have been selected to a team. 

• If you are new to our program or are adding a new player to your account, you will need to upload a copy of the players birth certificate.  Please have that ready before proceeding to registration.

Belvidere Badgers 15U - Annual 2024

BELVIDERE BADGERS 15U BASEBALL CLUB IS FULL-TIME TRAVEL UNDER BYB BASEBALL.  COMPETE AT TOURNAMENTS IN ADJACENT STATES, NO MORE THAN 5 HOURS AWAY.  COMPETE AROUND THE AA CLASSIFICATION LEVEL, AND OCCASIONALLY PLAY UP IN AGE IN TOURNAMENTS AND SCRIMMAGES. 

TEAM WILL BE COACHED BY HIGH SCHOOL COACHES FROM BELVIDERE HS  AND LOCAL COACHING TALENT THAT INCLUDES: DAN BODEY (FRESHMAN HS COACH), TAYLOR ROGERS (VARSITY HEAD BASEBALL COACH), BEN MAXEY (LOCAL HS STANDOUT AND COLLEGE ATHLETE), NEAL BETRAM (HOF HEAD COACH)

DEVELOPMENT OF SKILL WILL BE THE PRIMARY GOAL AND BE HANDLED BY CERTIFIED HIGH SCHOOL COACHES AND COLLEGE PLAYERS. EACH COACH HAS A SPECIALTY AREA THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR. WE WILL CREATE A COMPETIVE SCHEDULE FOCUSED ON SEEING THE BEST TALENT WE CAN. FOUNDATIONAL RECRUITING PRACTICES WILL BE DISCUSSED WITH FAMILIES TOO!

THE BELVIDERE BADGERS WILL UTILIZE D-BATS TRAINING FACILITY FOR HITTING, AND BELVIDERE HIGH SCHOOL FOR ALL OTHER AREAS (PITCHING, FIELDING, CLASSROOM AND RECRUITING INSTRUCTION, WEIGHT TRAINING, AND GAMEPLAY).  WE ARE EXCITED TO HAVE D-BATS OF ROCKFORD AS A SPONSOR!
