Holland Youth Night Information

• Location and Time: The game will be played at Hope College's Ray & Sue Smith Stadium (313 Fairbanks Ave). Holland will be hosting Hopkins at 7:00 PM. Please arrive at the game no later than 6:30 PM.
• Entry Into the Stadium: Cheerleaders can wear their cheer uniform for free entry into the game. We ask that participants are accompanied by an adult. Adults and siblings will need to pay to enter the game; it is $5 per/person ($5 if you pay cash at the gate or $6 if you pay online ahead of time). • Pregame Activities: Before the start of the game, Holland Recreation cheerleaders and football players will be announced on the field. All athletes will meet at the north-west corner of the field at 6:40 PM and be announced at 6:45 PM. After their introduction, athletes will join in making a tunnel on the field for the HPS football players to run through. Following the pregame excitement on the field, participants are welcome to join their families in the stands to watch the game and see the HPS Varsity Cheerleaders in action!

End of the Season Celebration

• Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2025 Time: 6:00 - 7:00 PM
• Location: Matt Urban Pavilion - the one across the parking lot closest to the sand volleyball courts
• Other Important Information: We will provide pizza, plates, & napkins, but feel free to send a treat or snack with your cheerleader to share with the team. We will also hold a brief awards ceremony around 6:30 PM, which is also when all cheerleaders will receive their picture orders.

Practice Information

Dates: August 20 - October 15, 2025
Practice Time: 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Grades: 1st & 2nd (as of the 2025/2026 school year)
Location: Matt Urban Sports Complex, Softball Field #4
What to Wear/Bring: Please have your participant wear comfortable athletic clothes, tennis shoes, and bring a water bottle.

*This age group will be cheering for Holland Recreation's 3rd/4th Grade Flag Football teams
What to Wear: Holland Recreation will provide all participants with a shirt and a bow. We ask that cheerleaders wear black pants/shorts/skirt with tennis shoes for game days.
