Lakeshore Middle School Baseball League - Spring 2025

Lakeshore Middle School Baseball League
Practices will begin in March with games beginning after Spring Break.  Jersey and hat will be provided by Holland Recreation.  Other equipment needed to play is responsibility of player.  Teams will be divided by school and will compete against other West Michigan communities. In addition to 7th & 8th graders, 6th graders who are 13 years old are allowed to register for this league.

  • Where will practices be held?: Practices will be held in Holland. Practice times will depend on volunteer coaches availability.
  • Where will games be held?: Home games will be held at Matt Urban. Away games will vary throughout the West Michigan area.
  • Are there multiple teams?: Yes, there is a Holland team(s) and a Holland Christian team(s). If you do not attend either, please register for your school of choice.
  • What equipment do participants need?: Holland Recreation will supply game jerseys, hats, helmets, and bats. Participants will need a glove and cleats. Workforce Equipment scholarships are available.
  • What color pants does my child need?: Both Holland and Holland Christian teams will wear grey pants.
  • Can 6th graders play in this league?: Only 6th graders who are 13 years old are allowed to register. 6th graders who are 12 can sign up for Holland Little League.
  • Difference between resident & non?: A resident is anyone who has a home address within the boundaries of the city limits of Holland otherwise known as a City of Holland tax payer. School district is not our determination factor.
