5th/6th Grade Tackle Football - Fall 2025

5th & 6th graders will compete in the West Michigan Junior Football League (WMJFL) on Saturdays with practices held during the week.  Holland Christian and Holland Public teams will be formed. Kids from any school are allowed registered for this program. Participants will be provided a game jersey by Holland Recreation.  Players are responsible for all required football equipment including black pants and white football helmet.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • What equipment do we need?: Players are responsible for their helmet, mouth piece, all pads, and pants. Holland Recreation will provide a game jersey, to be turned in at the end of the season.
  • How are teams divided?: Teams are divided by school. Holland Christian and Holland Public teams are formed. If you do not go to either school, then register for school of choice.
  • Determining Resident versus Non-Resident: A resident is anyone who has a home address within the boundaries of the city limits of Holland otherwise known as a City of Holland tax payer. School district is not our determination factor.
