2026 Girls NFL FLAG Football - Summer 2026

Join the fun with our non-contact NFL Flag Football League — perfect for players of all skill levels!

Season Duration: July-September

Age Groups: Middle School Girls Division (Rising 6th-8th Graders), High School Girls Division (Rising 9th-12th Graders)

Age is Determined by September 1st, 2026.

Siblings that are participating within the same age group will be placed onto teams together - no requests for placement onto a team with a specific player (or coach) will be considered.

REGISTRATION: MAY 1-7 IS FOR WAKE FOREST RESIDENTS ONLY (must live within Town limits).

Limited spaces are available in each age group.  When an age groups has reached capacity, a wait list will begin. NOTE:  No exceptions are made related to league/age assignments.

Please note that participants new to the program must provide proof of age (birth certificate) at registration.

PARTICIPANT FEE:  $60 (residents), $100 (non-residents).  Resident status determination: participant must reside within the Town limits.

Fall Baseball, Softball, T-Ball - Fall 2026

Fall 2026 Youth Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball Leagues

Registration opens June 1, 2026. Join us for skill-building, teamwork, and fun!

League Age: Determined by the participant’s age as of April 30, 2026. New participants must provide a birth certificate at registration to confirm age (ages 4-16 boys and girls).

Limited Spaces: Each age group has limited spots available. Once an age group reaches capacity, a waitlist will begin. Note: League/age assignments are strictly based on age, with no exceptions.

Participant Fees:

• Town of Wake Forest Residents: $60, registration opens June 1
• Non-Residents: $100, registration opens June 8
• Residency is determined by the participant’s home address within Town limits.

Team Placement: Siblings in the same age group will be placed on the same team, but requests for specific teams, players, or coaches cannot be accommodated.

Tball and Rookie League Players will be randomly placed on team and ALL minor, little, junior, and seniors players will participate in evaluations and drafted (coaches kids are automatically placed)

Practice & Game Schedule:

• Practices: 1-2 times per week, with 5-6 sessions.
• Games: 8-10 game season only (depending on field space and the number of teams)

• Evaluations: Late July (no evaluations for tball & rookie leagues)
• Practices: Early/Mid-August through October
• Games: August through October

Volunteer Coaching Opportunities: Interested in coaching? Register your child first, then signup online to volunteer. Each team may have up to 1 head coach and 2 assistants.

Requirements for Coaches (after selected):

• Background screening before the first practice
• Complete NAYS Coaches Training before the first game
• Coaching spots are limited and may reach capacity

Church Co-Rec Softball League - Summer I 2026

Church Co-Rec Softball League – Bring your local church this summer for Co-Ed Softball in Wake Forest.  Fellowship and fun on the field!

Depending on team numbers, we’ll organize the league into one of two tournaments at the end of the season.

Eligibility - Participants must be 18 years or older to join.

Schedule - Teams can expect to play 1-2 games per week.

Game Rules & Equipment

• Strike Mat: A strike mat will be used for all games.
• Balls Provided: All game balls will be supplied by the league.

Rosters and Player Add/Drop Policy

• Roster Submission: All teams must submit their rosters before the season’s first game.
• Add/Drop Period: Teams can adjust rosters within the first two weeks of the season. After this window, rosters will be locked for the remainder of the season.

• Flaherty Park Field 1: 1100 N White St & Heritage High (Lower Field): 1150 Forestville Rd

League Overview

• Start Date: League play begins in Mid-June.
• Game Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Thursdays.
• Game Times: Start times are 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM.

Youth Volleyball League (Girls) - Spring 2026

We’re excited to announce our Youth Volleyball League, hosted in collaboration with Cap City Volleyball.

Eligibility and League Age

• League Age: Determined by age on September 1, 2026
• Age Verification: New participants must provide a birth certificate
• Limited Spots: Each age group has limited availability. Once full, waitlists will open.

Fees

• Wake Forest Residents: $60 (Registration opens April 1)
• Non-Residents: $100 (Registration opens April 8)
• Residency: Determined by your home address within Town limits

Team Placement

• Siblings in the same age group will be placed on the same team.
• No specific requests for teammates or coaches can be accommodated.

Practice & Game Schedule

• Days & Age Groups:
  • 10U & 12U: Monday/Wednesday
  • 14U & 16U: Tuesday/Thursday
• Practice & Game Times: 6:15 PM, 7:15 PM, or 8:15 PM

Evaluations

• Dates: May 11–14
• Details: Times/Days - TBA
  • Participation Required: All coaches & players, including coaches' children, must attend evaluations.

Season Details

• Games: 10 games + a postseason tournament
• Championship: Held on the 3rd or 4th Saturday in July

Equipment Needs

• Required: Knee pads
• Optional: Arm sleeves (helpful but not required)

Adult Co-Rec Kickball League - Spring I 2026

Spring Adult Co-Rec Kickball League - 2026

Get ready for an exciting season of kickball! This fall league, hosted in collaboration with RDU Sports, offers competitive play in a fun, community-centered environment.

Season Details

• Team and Player Registration begins February 1st
• Start Date: League play begins mid-March.
• Format: Preseason practice, 8-game regular season, followed by an end-of-season tournament to crown the league champions.
• Schedule: Games will be held on Sunday afternoons through mid to late June.
• Possible doubleheader Sundays

Location
Games will be held at Heritage High School Park’s lower fields (250' and/or 300' fields) located at 1150 Forestville Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587 or Flaherty Park field 1 or 3 located at 1100 N. White St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Rosters and Player Add/Drop Policy

• Roster Submission: Team rosters must be submitted before the first game and finalized prior to the end of March.
• Add/Drop Period: A two-week period for player adjustments will be available starting from the first game of the season. After this window, rosters are locked.
• Team jerseys and matching shirts with a number is needed for play.
