Basketball - Winter 2025

Registration opens on September 1st for residents and on September 8th for non-residents. Register early to secure your spot and avoid the waitlist—spaces are not guaranteed!

Registration Period:

• Residents Only: September 1-7, 2025
• Non-Resident Registration Begins (if spaces are available): September 8, 2025

Fees: Residents: $60 | Non-Residents: $100 

• Participants must reside within Wake Forest town limits to qualify as a resident. When an age group has reached capacity, a wait list will begin.

Age Determination:

• Boys: 5-17 | Girls 5-13

• Participants' league age is based on their age as of December 31, 2025.

Proof of Age Required:

• All new participants must provide a birth certificate at registration.

Team Placement:

• Siblings within the same age group will be placed on the same team.
• Specific team or coach requests are not considered.

Practices/Games - Flaherty Park Community Center, Joyner Park Community Center, Heritage Middle School, Franklin Academy High School.

Adult Fall Competitive & Recreational Softball Leagues - Fall 2025

Fall Adult Softball League - Join us this fall for the Adult Softball League in Wake Forest, where players can choose between recreational and competitive leagues to match their skill level and enjoy the game at their own pace.

League Overview

• Start Date: League play begins in mid/end of August.
• Game Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and possibly Thursdays.
• Game Times: Start times are 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM.
• Divisions:
  • Social/Recreational League (Lower): For players seeking a casual, relaxed environment focused on fun and enjoyment.
  • Mid-Competitive League (Middle): Designed for those looking for a moderate level of competition, ideal for teams with some experience.
  • Competitive League (Upper): Tailored for more skilled players and teams, featuring high-level competition.

  Depending on team numbers, we’ll organize the league into two or three divisions to best match skill levels and ensure balanced play.

Eligibility - Participants must be 18 years or older to join.

Schedule - 1-2 games per week (M/W/Th)

• Heritage High School Park 300' Field: 1150 Forestville Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587 (Lower Field)

Game Rules & Equipment

• Strike Mat: A strike mat will be used for all games.
• Balls Provided: All game balls will be supplied by the league.

Rosters and Player Add/Drop Policy

• Roster Submission: All teams must submit their rosters before the season’s first game.
• Add/Drop Period: Teams can adjust rosters within the first two weeks of the season.
