Games
All squads will cheer for home and away football games which are held Saturday or Sunday. Our football league uses a flex scheduling system, which means game schedules are released a week or two in advance.

Playoffs & Championship Games
If a Squad's assigned Football team makes Playoffs we will continue to cheer for them through the Championship.

Fundraising/State Fees*
State Registration Fees are NOT included in registration.
We hold multiple fundraisers during the season to cover these costs.
Fundraising is MANDATORY, each cheerleader is required to sell $350 in product (combined) from the fundraisers. If you choose not to fundraise, there is a $250 opt out fee payable to Elk Grove Park District no later than the due date of the first fundraiser.
If this requirement is not met, your cheerleader cannot compete at the State Competition.

Community Projects
While not mandatory we encourage our cheerleaders to participate in various community service projects during the cheer and football season. This is a great way for our girls to bond and show pride in our program and community. 

Be a part of the Eagles Cheer Family! Eagles Cheer is a 100% volunteer organization that provides cheerleaders with the opportunity to learn fundamental cheerleading and stunting skills with an emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork and safety. 

Rookie Cheer (Sideline only) - entering Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
Our youngest cheerleaders will learn cheerleading fundamentals: jumps, motions and basic stunting techniques. They will also cheer on the sidelines at Eagles games and perform short halftime routines. 
Practices will initially be held 2 days a week and then transition to 1 day a week when school starts, 6:00 to 7:15 at Community Athletic Fields (CAF), games are held on Saturday or Sunday. Season runs from the Mid-July through Mid-November.

Competition and Sideline Cheer (entering 2nd - 8th grade)
Eagle Competition Cheerleaders will compete in 4 Illinois Cheer Association (ICA) Competitions and also cheer on our Eagle Football teams at home and away games. Practices will be a minimum of 2 days a week. Cheer season runs from Mid-May* through ICA State Competition in November.
