EGVYB Program Information

Spring Season

Elk Grove Village Youth Baseball Spring Season has 5 divisions of play from Pre-K to 8th Grade. The season consists of at least 4 weeks of practice, 12 games and All Star and Playoff games for most divisions. Teams for PeeWee (Pre-K and K) and 1st/2nd Grade Divisions are kept smaller and are formed primarily based on School and special requests. Teams for 3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grande and 7th/8th Grade Divisions typically consist of 10-12 players and are formed by draft so special requests can not always be honored. Teams are formed at the end of March with the goal of beginning practice the first week of April. Games begin in early May and conclude at the end of June with Playoffs held in early July. In the event that we are unable to field 4 teams at a particular division, we join up with the Chicago Suburban Youth Baseball Association and play with nearby towns. Registration opens in early January and closes in early March. Please see the Spring Season subpage for more information on the 2026 EGVYB Spring Season!

Fall Season

Please see the Fall Season Information subpage for details on the 2026 EGVYB Fall season!

Winter Training

Winter Training provides an opportunity for players PreK - 8th Grade to get some offseason indoor practice. We focus on the core skills of fielding, throwing, and hitting in addition to providing opportunities for pitcher and catcher specific training. Sessions are broken up by age group so that techniques and drills are tailored for the level of play and registration is limited for each age group to keep sessions at an appropriate size. Sessions run from early January through late March.
