VOLUNTEER COACHES

Our volunteer coaches are the lifeblood of our recreation leagues, serving as the essential backbone that allows our sports programs to thrive. They dedicate their personal time and energy, not for a paycheck, but out of love for the game and the opportunity to make a positive impact on young athletes. Their commitment extends far beyond teaching plays and drills; they are mentors who build confidence, foster teamwork, and instill a sense of sportsmanship in every player. Without their tireless efforts and unwavering passion, our leagues simply could not exist, and the invaluable lessons learned on the field would be lost. Their contributions are truly what make our community's sports programs so successful and vibrant.

Requirements for Volunteer Coaching *These requirements comply with the City of Maricopa's Volunteer Program policies:

⚽ Meeting: All coaches must attend a mandatory meeting for the corresponding sport. Be sure to check all correspondence from either TeamSideline and/or email from the City of Maricopa.
🏐 City Volunteer Disclosures: All coaches must complete the City's Volunteer Disclosures forms. 
🏀 Drug Testing: All coaches must pass an on-site drug test. 
🏈 Background Check: All coaches must successfully pass a background check.
