2026 Spring Youth Baseball Leagues

INSTRUCTIONAL BASEBALL LEAGUES (ages 5 - 7)

Registration Deadline - Friday March 2

$15 increase after 1/4/26

This program is an introduction program to our Youth Baseball Leagues. This league fosters fun while learning the rules of the game with no score kept and age appropriate rules. Players are selected to teams based on neighborhoods and schools (see Friend Request Policy). The season is an 8 game schedule, with no games over Memorial Day weekend, make up games may be played on weeknights if needed. Games will be between 9am - 3pm on Saturdays depending on the amount of teams. 

May 2 - June 20

#50907 Wee-Tee League (Boys & Girls 5 yr as of 8/31/26): League play will be on Saturdays for 1 hour and 15 minutes each week. The first 30 minutes will be practice and developmental skills and the last 45 minutes will be actual game situations. Fee includes a jersey and hat. $115 R/ $125 NR

#50908 Tee Ball (Boys & Girls Kindergarten): Fee includes full uniform socks, pants, jersey and hat. Teams will practice once a week on weeknights (starting in early/mid April). Fee includes a full uniform (jersey, pants, socks and hat). $150 R/ $160 NR

#50909 Rookie (Boys and Girls Grade 1): Teams will practice once a week on weeknights (starting in early/mid April). Fee includes full uniform socks, pants, jersey and hat. $150 R/ $160 NR


YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUES (2nd - 8th grades)

Age of participant for youth baseball is determined by what grade the child is currently in this school year. Fee includes full uniform of socks, pants, jersey and hat. For additional equipment needs, please visit the Youth Baseball League home page on Team Sideline for a Player Equipment List. Volunteer Coaches Are REQUIRED at all levels! Bronco (grades 2-6) & Pony (grades 7-8) - Players are selected to teams based on a player draft. The purpose of the draft is to try to balance the teams by ability and age. FRIEND AND COACH REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. Teams can expect to meet 2-4 times per week during the season. Practices will begin in early April, depending on weather. Teams will receive a 12-15 game regular season (beginning at the end of April) and an end of the season tournament, concluding by the end of June. Majors & Pony divisions may play in the CSYBA league with games being played at other surrounding communities. 

 *Player Skills Day* Sunday February 22 at Prospect HS. All 3rd-8th grade baseball players must attend the evaluation day, including the coach's kids. Times of the evaluation of your child’s age group will be listed on MPPD’s Team Sideline website after the registration deadline. All players will go through a series of basic skills and be rated on their skill level. All players should wear comfortable clothing, gym shoes and must bring their glove and bat.
