Welcome to the Mt. Prospect Patriots Baseball Program!
The Mt. Prospect Patriots is a travel baseball program through the Mt. Prospect Park District. This program is an extension of the Mt. Prospect Park District House Baseball League. Patriots players are not required to additionally participate in the Mt. Prospect Park District House Baseball League and will solely focus on their Patriots team.
In the offseason (January - April), Patriots teams will participate in weekly in winter training practices at CCC and bi-weekly training sessions with Health Performance Institute (HPI). During the season (April - July), all Patriots teams will participate in the Lake Shore Feeder Baseball League (LSFBL) and can expect to play between 14-20 games between early April - end of July along with 2 in-season weekend tournaments.
2026 Patriots Baseball Tryouts Dates
There is no fee to tryout for a team. Must attend 1 of the 2 tryout dates to be considered.
Players age is determined by how old the player will be on 5/1/2026.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged and closes 1 business prior to tryout date.

8u Patriots Baseball Developmental Training Program
Not quite ready to commit to travel baseball but looking for something more than house league? This is an introduction program for 8u players to Patriots Travel Baseball with NO CUTS or TRYOUTS (all players welcomed)! Some activities occur during the house league season but during off days. Volunteer Coaches are necessary for this program to help run practices & scrimmages. This program includes: Patriots practice t-shirt & hat, 6 offseason training sessions with HPI professional coaches (between January - March) and starting in April (weather pending) through June, Sunday practices or intra-squad scrimmages with volunteer coaches will be scheduled to showcase growth and progress. All registrants for this program MUST also participate in Spring House Baseball League (Bronco B division).
Registration opens in August 2025.
