2026 Spring Youth Girls Softball League Registration 

Registration Begins Monday, November 3 

Registration deadline is Friday, February 13, 9:00am

$15 fee increase after 1/4/26

Age of participant for youth softball is determined by what grade the child is currently in this school year. Fees include a full uniform of socks, pants, jersey and a scrunchie. For additional equipment needs, please visit the Youth Softball League home page on Team Sideline for a Player Equipment List. Volunteer Coaches Are REQUIRED at all levels! Teams can expect to meet 2-4 times per week during the season. Practices will begin in early April, depending on weather. Teams will receive a 12 game regular season (beginning in mid April) and an end of the season tournament, concluding by the end of June. Mt. Prospect teams will participate in the Crosstown Softball League with games being played against other surrounding communities (Arlington Heights, Palatine, Prospect Heights, etc). Weeknight game days will vary and games will also be played on Saturdays. For 3rd-8th grade players, those returning from last spring/summer season will rejoin their team unless changing divisions or requested otherwise during registration. New players or players without an existing team must attend evaluation day and will be placed in the draft. FRIEND AND COACH REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. 

 *Player Skills Day* Sunday February 22 at Prospect HS. Times of the evaluation of your child’s age group will be listed on MPPD’s Team Sideline website after the registration deadline. All players will go through a series of basic skills and be rated on their skill level. All players should wear comfortable clothing, gym shoes and must bring their glove and bat. This applies for 3rd-8th grade players only!
