What is Mustang 10U Softball
Mustang 10U Softball is designed for athletes ages 9–10 who are ready to move into a more advanced, competitive level of the game. This division introduces full softball rules, real pitching, strategic defensive play, and faster base running, all while maintaining a development-focused and encouraging atmosphere. It bridges the gap between early-learning levels and the more competitive 12U divisions, preparing players for higher-level softball with age-appropriate field dimensions and coaching support.
Field & Game Specifications
Base paths: 60 ft.
Pitching distance: Fast-pitch: 35 feet
Slow-pitch: 40 feet
Outfield fence or home-run line: 150–175 feet from home plate.
Regulation bases, home plate, and pitcher’s plate are used.
Game Play & Rules Highlights
Players pitch (fast-pitch or slow-pitch depending on league format)
